The practice based at Farnham Centre for Health moved into the hospital premises in 2004 from its original site at Brightwells. The Bourne practice re-located to its newly built premises in April 2006. Both sites now offer modern, spacious, light, purpose built medical centres which will carry the practice into the future.

We do not operate “personal lists” and patients have the opportunity to see any of the doctors across either site.  We offer appointments both on the day and in advance (weekly and monthly). These can be booked using our automated telephone booking system which enables patients to book appointments 24 hours a day 7 days a week via the telephone for patients at the Bourne or out of normal hours for FCfH patients by ringing the Bourne 01252 730100 telephone number

Out of hours care is provided by ThamesDoc GP Co-operative, between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am, with most of the Primary Care Centre surgeries being manned by local GPs. A doctor is available to visit patients if the need arises, and ThamesDoc provide a car and driver.

Our local secondary care providers are Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust and the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust. Community and mental health services are provided by the PCT.

The practice is currently working towards practice based commissioning which should enable the practice to have more control over the services provided in hospitals and to ensure these are appropriate for the needs of our local population. It is also possible through this initiative to provide some services that are currently only available at Frimley/RSCH more locally, within practices.
